CE Credit Requirement Updates from BC College of Oral Health

The QAP cycle for dental technicians has been extended by ten months, from March 1, 2023, to December 31, 2026, to align with the calendar year per BCCOHP bylaws. During this extended period, technicians must complete 38 credits. This includes 8 additional credits, with a daily cap of 10 credits. Starting January 1, 2027, the cycle will revert to a standard three-year duration, requiring 30 credits, while maintaining the minimum practice requirement of 675 hours every three years.
